Float Construction

At Riverside and Pickering Marine Contractors, all floating docks and systems are custom built to order. Using all American made products to insure strength, quality and longevity, floating docks are constructed from a variety of materials including but not limited to:

Standard pressured treated lumber
Parallam laminated beams
Welded steel construction with corothaine epoxy coatings, or galvanized

We just contracted with Pickering Marine to build our second pier project at a new house, and decided once again to let them obtain all the necessary permits and approvals. We can't wait to see a new pier, ramp, and float at our present home, knowing that it will be designed and built properly and in a timely fashion, just like the first one.
